The list

What Is a Hospice Care Facilities Email List?

A hospice care facilities email list is a business contact database of hospice provider organizations and the professionals who manage hospice services.

Companies use it to find hospice providers, reach the administrator or clinical leader who decides, and introduce products and services that support hospice operations. Sales teams use it for prospecting and territory planning; marketing teams use it for email and account-based campaigns.

Most hospice providers are not standalone buildings. They run from an office and send their team to wherever the patient lives. Dedicated inpatient hospice facilities are included where they exist and can be selected separately.

What you receive
A spreadsheet of hospice providers, each with business contacts for its administrators, clinical leaders and other available decision-makers.
Which providers
Hospice agencies, hospital-affiliated hospice programs, multi-location providers and dedicated inpatient hospice facilities, subject to available data.
Which details
Provider name, address, website and type, plus contact name, job title, department, business email and business phone where available.
How targeting works
Pick states, provider types and job titles. We check coverage for that selection and quote for it.

Provider types

Types of Hospice Providers You Can Target

These categories overlap. Provider type, ownership and care setting are different things: a nonprofit hospice can be independent, run several locations and operate its own inpatient unit.

Provider type, ownership and inpatient filters depend on the records available for each provider. Medicare certification and ownership are shown only where they have been checked against CMS.

Hospice Care Decision-Makers You Can Reach

Job titles vary by provider size and structure. At a small hospice the administrator may also run operations and purchasing; at a multi-location provider these are separate people, some at head office. Not every hospice has every role.

Industry overview

Hospice Care Providers in the United States

Official figures from CMS and the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission. They describe the U.S. market, not the HCPContacts database.

Hospice is end-of-life care for people whose illness can no longer be cured. Under Medicare, a patient's doctor and the hospice doctor certify a life expectancy of six months or less, and the patient chooses comfort care instead of curative treatment (Medicare.gov (source for the Medicare definition) (opens in a new tab)). Care is given where the patient lives, such as at home or in a nursing home, and the hospice arranges short-term inpatient or respite stays when needed.

A hospice coordinates doctors' and nursing services, aides, social services, spiritual and grief counseling, therapy, drugs for symptom control, and medical equipment and supplies. That means an office running intake, on-call coverage and scheduling, staff working across many settings, documentation that follows the patient, and equipment delivered to each location.

These are official totals, not HCPContacts record counts.

The CMS figure counts hospices in the CMS hospice list (source for CMS hospice counts) (opens in a new tab); California (2,062) and Texas (1,086) have the most. The MedPAC figures count hospices billing Medicare during 2024, so the two totals differ. Ask us for the number of HCPContacts records that match your selection.

Targeting example

Build a Targeted Hospice Provider Contact List

A hospice management software company wants to reach independent hospice agencies in Texas and Florida.

Targeting requirements

Geography
Texas and Florida
Provider type
Independent hospice agencies
Job titles
Hospice Administrator, Executive Director, Clinical Director, Operations Director
Required fields

What happens next

HCPContacts reviews the targeting requirements, checks the records available in both states and prepares a relevant sample and quote. At small independent hospices one person often holds several of these titles, so we tell you where the administrator is the better single contact.

An example request. Matching counts are confirmed when you ask.

Medicare certification and a listing on Care Compare or another public directory show that a hospice exists and what it is approved to do. Neither means anyone at the hospice has agreed to marketing. Follow the email and privacy laws that apply to your campaigns, including honoring opt-out requests. A list does not guarantee sales or campaign results. The data was last taken through a full verification pass in September 2026.

Home health agencies give skilled nursing and therapy to help patients recover. They are different buyers, and we keep them in separate lists.

Yes. Providers that run a dedicated inpatient hospice facility or unit can be selected on their own where that is documented. Most hospice care happens elsewhere, so this selection is smaller.
