Oracle Health Customers List

Oracle Health is Oracle's healthcare division, formed when Oracle acquired Cerner in 2022. Hospitals, health systems and clinics use its electronic health record and related software for clinical documentation, orders, patient accounting and data sharing, and many still call the platform Cerner.

Knowing which companies run Oracle Health helps healthcare IT vendors, consultants, integration firms, medical suppliers and other businesses see where their offer is relevant and which teams look after the system.

HCPContacts helps you identify companies using Oracle Health and reach their IT, clinical informatics, operations, procurement and executive decision-makers.

The technology

What Is Oracle Health?

Oracle Health is the healthcare business of Oracle Corporation. It sells the electronic health record and surrounding software that hospitals and clinics use to document care, place orders, manage patient accounts and exchange data.

Most hospitals on Oracle Health run its established EHR, which Oracle's recent announcements call Oracle Health Foundation EHR. In 2025 Oracle added a new cloud-based Oracle Health EHR with AI and voice built in, certified first for ambulatory care. Around the record sit tools for revenue cycle, population health data, a patient portal and AI-assisted documentation.

It is found in large health systems, community and critical access hospitals, Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers and behavioral health operators.

Cerner

Oracle Health and Cerner: What's the Relationship?

Before 2022, Cerner was an independent company and one of the largest hospital EHR vendors in the United States. Oracle agreed to buy it in December 2021 and completed the deal in June 2022. The Cerner business became Oracle Health, and cerner.com now leads to Oracle Health's site.

The Cerner name has not gone away. Hospitals that implemented Cerner Millennium still run that platform, which Oracle's support pages now list as the Oracle Health Millennium Platform. Clinicians, job titles and contracts often still say Cerner, and some providers describe their system as Cerner, powered by Oracle Health.

What this means for your list: a request for companies using Cerner and a request for companies using Oracle Health cover the same technology, so this page uses the current name. Past use is a different matter. Intermountain Health, for example, went live on Epic across 33 hospitals in September 2025, replacing Oracle Health (source for Intermountain Health) (opens in a new tab), so it is no longer an Oracle Health customer.

Market context

Oracle Health's Presence in U.S. Healthcare

Oracle does not publish a count of its EHR customers on its Oracle Health pages. These are the footprint figures Oracle and its largest government customer do publish, each measuring something different.

Oracle Health EHR Market Share

KLAS Research's US Acute Care EHR Market Share 2026 report, covering contracts signed in 2025, places Oracle Health second among acute care EHR vendors: 21.9% of U.S. acute care hospitals, and 20.4% when measured by beds.

The same report shows the installed base shrinking. Oracle Health ended 2025 down 56 hospitals and 14,676 beds, with the heaviest losses among small health systems, and all but three of those hospitals moved to Epic. For vendors, that means Oracle Health accounts include both long-term customers and organizations weighing a change.

These figures describe Oracle Health's business and the VA program. They are not HCPContacts record counts.

Products

Oracle Health Products and Capabilities

Current product names, checked against Oracle's own pages in September 2026. Providers license different combinations, and two EHRs now carry the Oracle Health name.

Why the platform matters for integration and services

For interoperability vendors, integrators and consultants, knowing which Oracle Health environment a provider runs frames the conversation. Oracle runs a partner validation program for the established platform, Oracle Validated: Oracle Health Millennium Platform (opens in a new tab). The newer Oracle Health EHR is a separate product, so a provider adopting it may take on new integration and training work. Whether a particular product connects to Oracle Health depends on that product; using Oracle Health does not mean any given integration is in place.

Decision-makers

Decision-Makers at Companies Using Oracle Health

EHR decisions are rarely one person's call. IT runs the system, informatics shapes how clinicians use it, and finance and procurement join whenever contracts or budgets move. At a critical access hospital, one person may cover several of these roles.

  • Healthcare IT

Runs the Oracle Health environment day to day: applications, hosting, interfaces and upgrades.

    • Chief Information Officer
    • Chief Technology Officer
    • VP Information Technology
    • IT Director
    • Enterprise Applications Director
    • Applications Director
    • EHR Director
  • Clinical informatics

    • Clinical Informatics Director
    • Clinical Systems Director
  • Operations

Accountable for the units and sites whose workflows depend on the record.

    • Chief Operating Officer
    • Hospital Administrator
    • VP Operations
    • Operations Director
  • Procurement

Runs sourcing and contracting when new systems, services or renewals are on the table.

    • Procurement Director
    • Purchasing Director
    • Strategic Sourcing Director
    • Supply Chain Director
  • Finance and revenue cycle

Owns patient accounting, claims and collections, and the budget behind system decisions.

    • Chief Financial Officer
    • VP Revenue Cycle
    • Revenue Cycle Director
    • Patient Financial Services Director

Titles differ by provider and not every company has every role. For IT leaders at any hospital, see the hospital CIO email list; for the executives who sign off, the hospital CEO email list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Oracle Health, Cerner and the data, answered briefly.

It is a list of companies using Oracle Health, mainly hospitals and health systems, paired with business contacts for the people who manage and buy for their technology, such as the CIO, CMIO, IT directors and revenue cycle leaders.

Yes. Oracle acquired Cerner in a deal that closed on June 8, 2022, and the business became Oracle Health, Oracle's healthcare division. Many providers and job titles still use the Cerner name for the same systems.

Yes. Cerner is now part of Oracle Health, so providers still running Cerner systems are Oracle Health customers. Ask for either name and we check current availability for that technology.

Some long-time Cerner customers have moved to other EHRs, such as Intermountain Health, which went live on Epic in 2025. Tell us whether you need current Oracle Health users, and we confirm availability against that requirement.

Hospitals and health systems make up most of the installed base, along with community and critical access hospitals, federal health systems such as the VA, behavioral health operators and ambulatory providers. The examples table names providers with a public source.

Records can include name, job title, department, seniority, business email, business phone and LinkedIn profile, plus the company's name, type, website, location, size and EHR technology. Available fields may vary by record and dataset.

Yes. You can combine job title, department and seniority with state, city, company type, employee size and revenue range, where the record carries them.

IT leaders such as the CIO and applications directors, clinical informatics leaders such as the CMIO, and operations, procurement, finance and revenue cycle leaders. Titles differ from one provider to the next.

Yes, per request. We do not publish a fixed number because the count depends on your selection. Send your requirements and we check current availability.

No. HCPContacts is not affiliated with, endorsed by or a partner of Oracle, Oracle Health or Cerner. The names are used only to describe the technology providers use.
