What it is

What Is a Physical Therapists Email List?

A business contact file for physical therapists, built around the part of the profession you actually sell to.

What is in it

One row per therapist. Their name and job title, the practice or facility they work for, the address, and the work contact details: in separate columns, ready to load into your CRM or email tool.

You are not buying a general healthcare database and filtering it down yourself. You tell us the locations and types of practice you want, and the file is put together for that group.

Everything describes someone at work. No home addresses, and nothing about patients.

Start by asking whether your product needs a building

Most physical therapists work somewhere that has been fitted out for the job: treatment tables, exercise equipment, modalities, a front desk and scheduling software. That is where the money gets spent.

So if you sell equipment, fit-out, clinic software or anything installed, ask for therapists in outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers and private practices. If you sell training, staffing, insurance or services that follow the person, home health and facility-based therapists are worth including too.

It is a quick question to answer and it usually decides half the selection.

What you receive

What Information Is Included?

The fields a file can carry. Each row links a therapist to the practice they work for, so you can judge the business and write to the person from the same file.

The person

Therapist details

  • Full name
  • First and last name
  • Job title
  • Specialty or therapy discipline
  • Business email address
  • Phone number
  • NPI, where available
  • License detail, where available
The practice

Workplace details

  • Practice or organization name
  • Facility type
  • Work setting
  • Website
  • Street address
  • City
  • State
  • ZIP code
  • Country
  • Parent organization, where held
  • Number of locations, where held

Which fields you get depends on the record

No file has every field filled in on every row. Practice details tend to be the most complete, because they describe a business. NPI, license and the parent organization are there when we hold them. Say which columns your campaign needs and the count will tell you how many matching records have them, before you commit to anything.

Choosing your audience

Choose the Physical Therapists You Want to Reach

Nobody needs every contact. A rehab equipment supplier usually wants therapists in clinics and rehabilitation centers; a regional service business may only want two or three states.

By location

Equipment businesses in particular are limited by where they can deliver and service. Match the file to that.

  • USA

    The full national selection.

  • State

A single state, or several grouped together.

  • City

Useful when a rep covers named metros.

  • ZIP code

For territories drawn around service areas.

  • Region

Groups of states, such as the Southwest.

By workplace or facility

Each setting tells you two things: whether there is a building to sell into, and who approves the spend.

  • Outpatient PT clinics

The largest group, and where most equipment and clinic software ends up.

Fitted-out site. Good for anything installed.

  • Private practices

Therapist-owned clinics. The owner is often the person who decides and signs.

Shortest route from pitch to decision.

  • Rehabilitation centers

Inpatient and post-acute rehab, with larger equipment budgets and longer buying cycles.

    Buys capital equipment, approves slowly.

  • Hospitals

Therapy departments inside a hospital. The therapist advises; the hospital purchases.

    Clinical influence, no direct budget.

  • Skilled nursing and rehab facilities

Therapy staff in long-term care, often employed by a contract therapy provider rather than the facility.

Check who the employer actually is.

  • Home health organizations

Therapists treating in patients' homes. Portable equipment only, and no clinic to fit out.

Skip if you sell anything installed.

Independent or part of a group

Plenty of clinics are one site; plenty are one of fifty. Where we hold the parent organization and the number of locations, those columns are supplied, so you can tell a practice owner who can buy today from a site manager who has to ask head office.

Clinic focus, where recorded

Sports, orthopedic, neuro or pediatric focus can be requested. It is recorded less evenly than location and facility type, so we confirm what is actually there and report it in the count rather than promising it upfront.

These combine into one request. Physical therapists at outpatient clinics and private practices, across six states, with a work email on file, is a single selection. Send us the combination and we come back with the count for exactly that.

How it is used

How Can You Use the Physical Therapists Email List?

The value is in not sending your campaign to people who were never going to buy. Here is what that looks like in practice.

  • Sales outreach

Work a territory clinic by clinic with a named contact and a work email, rather than calling front desks.

Example: A table and modality supplier working three states.

  • Product promotion

Put therapy equipment, exercise products, dry needling supplies or clinic software in front of the people who use them daily.

Example: Launching a new traction unit to outpatient clinics.

  • Email marketing

Send to physical therapists on their own instead of to a general healthcare list where most people have no use for the offer.

Example: A billing service that only handles PT claims.

  • Recruitment

Contact therapists about roles. Staffing firms usually work this audience by state and by type of setting.

Example: Filling travel contracts at rehab facilities.

  • Market research

Find therapists for surveys, product testing and interviews, or size a segment before entering it.

Example: Testing a new brace design with clinic owners.

  • Events and training

Promote continuing education, certification courses, workshops and conference sessions.

Example: A manual therapy certification running in the Midwest.

Worth being clear about what the data does. It tells you who to write to and where they work. It does not promise replies, orders or a return on your spend: that depends on your offer and your campaign. What a good selection does is stop you paying to message people your product was never built for.

Who buys it

Who Uses Physical Therapist Contact Data?

Mostly companies selling into the clinic: what it is equipped with, what it reorders, how it runs and who it hires.

  • Rehabilitation equipment companies

Treatment tables, exercise equipment and modalities are bought by the clinic, and the therapist is usually the one who asks for them.

  • Medical device companies

Braces, supports and recovery devices are recommended to patients by the therapist treating them.

  • Therapy supply and consumables companies

Tape, bands, needles, linens and electrodes are repeat purchases that a clinic reorders constantly.

  • Healthcare software companies

PT clinics run scheduling, documentation and home exercise software, and switching decisions are made at practice level.

  • Billing and practice service providers

Outpatient therapy billing is its own specialism, so services built for it sell directly to clinic owners.

  • Staffing and recruitment agencies

Therapists are recruited constantly for permanent, travel and contract roles across clinics and facilities.

  • Training and education providers

Continuing education is a licensing requirement, which makes this audience a regular buyer of courses.

  • Research and marketing agencies

Researchers recruit therapists for studies; agencies run therapy campaigns for their own clients.

How it works

How It Works

Four steps. You see the audience and the price before anything is agreed.

  1. 01

    Tell us who you need

The states or cities, the kinds of practice, and any columns your campaign depends on.

  2. 02

    Get the available count

We check the data against your criteria and tell you how many physical therapists match.

  3. 03

    Review the sample and pricing

Sample rows taken from your own selection, with the price. Nothing is owed at this stage.

  4. 04

    Receive your database

Once the targeting is agreed, the file is prepared and sent in a standard spreadsheet format.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions the sections above do not already answer.

Not by default, but they can be added. PTAs are a separate group in our therapist data, so tell us if you want them and the count will report them separately from the therapists. Equipment and supply campaigns often want both; recruitment campaigns usually want one or the other.

The job title column is what tells you. Owners, clinic directors and practice managers are titled differently from staff therapists, so you can split the file on that. Where we also hold the parent organization and number of locations, those columns help separate an independent practice from one site in a larger group.

Outpatient clinics, private practices and rehabilitation centers. Those are the settings with a site to fit out and a budget attached to it. Hospital-based therapists are worth including only if you are happy selling through hospital purchasing, and home health therapists are usually not worth including at all for anything installed.

Records are checked and corrected on an ongoing basis rather than in one annual sweep, and a selection is built against current data at the time you order rather than pulled from a stored extract. Therapists move between clinics frequently, so ordering close to when you plan to send keeps the file as current as it can be.

Send your criteria through the form on this page and we run them against the data. You get the matching count back along with the price and sample records. There is no charge for the count and no obligation to order after seeing it.

Ask for the part you are missing rather than replacing what you hold. A selection covering a region you have never worked, or a setting you have not sold into, is usually cheaper and more useful than buying the whole audience again. Send us what you are trying to fill and we will scope the count around that.

Physical therapy is one discipline inside our therapists email list. Rehab suppliers often want occupational therapists on the same file, since the two frequently work in the same building. Audiences can be combined into one order.
